Hello there! This time, I have written a summary for The Mandalorian Season Three, Chapter 21: The Pirate.

Warning: If you haven't watched this episode yet and don't want spoilers, please do not read the following text. Or if you have watched this episode, or if you don't mind, then continue.

The Attack

On Nevarro, Greef Karga and some engineers were designing the city. Greef Karga's protocol droid reported that a pirate Corsair was violating the airspace of the population zone. Pirate king Gorian Shard hailed Greef Karga a moment later. The two had a conversation. Gorian Shard then started an aerial bombardment. Karga sent a message to Captain Carson Teva, requesting help from the New Republic. The high magistrate and the people of Nevarro then evacuated to the lava flats.

The Message

At the Adelphi New Republic outpost, Captain Teva sat at a bar. The bartender said a message came for him and handed him a data disc. Captain Teva played the hologram, and Garazeb Orrelios sat down beside him. They discussed going to Coursant to request permission to intercede. Zeb wished Captain Teva good luck.

To Coruscant

Captain Teva went to Coruscant. In his office, Colonel Tuttle and Captain Teva discussed Navarro. Colonel Tuttle denied sending help to Nevarro because they were not a member planet. The New Republic captain stormed out of Colonel Tuttle's office.
Going to the Mandalorians
Captain Teva went to the Mandalorian covert to tell them that Din Djarin's friend, Greef Karga, was being attacked by pirates. Mando and Teva discussed the situation. Before Teva left, he said he would keep the Mandalorians' location private.

The Speech

Din Djarin talked about Greef Karga while holding the Armorer's hammer inside the cave where the Mandalorian covert lived. He said the reason for rescuing Nevarro was because they could relocate there. When Mando finished, he went over to The Armorer and handed her back the hammer. The Armorer asked if anyone else wished to speak. Paz Vizsla said he did. Paz Vizsla talked about his being there, saving Grogu, and seeing the other Mandalorians fall at the hands of the Imperials. He asked the other Mandalorian why they should lay their lives down yet again. Paz Vizsla said it was because they were Mandalorians. Outside, Bo-Katan Kryze told the Mandalorian covert they needed to operate as a tight military unit. Bo said she would use her Kom'rk Class fighter transport to drop them in. Later, the N-1 lead the Kom'rk Class fighter transport in hyperspace. Bo-Katan briefed them on their way to Navarro.

The Rescue

Din Djarin attacked Gorian Shard's pirate corsair with his N-1 starfighter. Gorian Shard ordered his pirates to man to gunwales and lunch the snubfighters. Bo-Katan then dropped the Mandalorians above the city. They drooped in with their jet packs for a sneak attack. They landed just outside the Anzellan's workshop and attacked a group of pirates there.
Meanwhile, team two landed in another street, assumed a tactical formation, and moved toward the courtyard. In the sky, the N-1 performed a series of graceful maneuvers and destroyed a snubfighter just above the bridge of the Corsair. Bo asked Mando what his position was. Mando answered that he was over the flats with snubfighters in pursuit and that Bo was clear to start her run. Bo-Katan throttled away from the city and peppered the pirate vessel with cannon fire. At the same time, team two cautiously walked into the courtyard. A Kowakian monkey-lizard warned the Mandalorians that it was a trap. Pirates came from all sides, but Paz Vizsla dropped from the sky and laid fire with his heavy repeating blaster.
A Trandoshan used a cannon to snipe down at the Mandalorians on the High Magistrate's balcony. The Armorer slipped into the High Magistrate's office and used her forging tools to take out the pirates. Paz Vizsla saw The Armorer and told the other Mandalorians to advance. The Mandalorians swept the town clean of enemy stragglers. The few surviving pirates fled the gateway to the landing pad to find the citizens charging in, led by Greff Karga. The pirates tried to turn back but were stopped by the Mandalorians dropping in via jetpack. The defeated invaders grudgingly laid down their weapons. Over the lava flats, a Mandalorian rode balanced atop a damaged snubfighter, then jetted off before it crashed to the ground. A pirate reported that there was only one snubfighter left. Vane then cowardly departed in his snubfighter. The pirate at the helm said they had to retreat, but Shard shoved the pirate aside and took control of the Corsair. The pirate king ordered his pirates to open fire at the townspeople. The canon turrets aimed and launched a fresh bombardment that crept toward the survivors outside the broken gateway. Din told Bo-Katan that they had to take Shard down. Flying in from opposite directions, Bo and Mando took out the pirate Corsair's last remaining engine. Fire erupted across the ship's hull as it went into a lumbering dive. Its anvil shape prow sank behind a black lava hill, then the whole thing exploded. The citizens celebrated as they looked on from the landing pad.

The Celebration

Later, the N-1 Naboo starfighter and the Kom'rk Class fighter transport sat on the landing pad. Greef thanked their Mandalorian liberators. He said the planet was forever indebted to them. High Magistrate Greff Karga then ceded all lands from the western lava flats to Bulloch Canyon to the people of Mandalorians. He said the Mandalorians no longer had a home planet, but they did now have a home. He then welcomed the Mandalorians to Nevarro. The Mandalorians respectfully clapped their fists to their chest and bowed their heads. From atop his ship, Din Djarin nodded to Greed Karga. Paz Vizsla approached Bo Katan Kryze and told her that The Armorer wished to speak with Bo. Paz led Bo down a winding staircase into the sewers beneath Nevarro. Paz led her through an archway, stepped aside, and let Bo-Katan pass. The Armorer was standing at the abandoned chiro furnace in what used to be the forge room. They talked about the Great Forge on Mandalore. The Armorer said the simple forge on Nevarro served the same purpose as the Great Forge. The Armorer told Bo-Katan to remove her helmet. Bo complied, exposing her face. The Armorer said that the Mythosaur was a sign that the next age was upon them. The Armorer told Bo-Katan that she had walked both worlds and that Bo was the one who could unite them. When Bo-Katan and The Armorer walked across the landing pad, the other Mandalorians stared at the two because Bo was helmetless. The Armorer told the other Mandalorians that Bo-Katan Kryze was going off to bring other Mandalorians in exile to the covert so they may join together once again. She said it was time to retake Mandalore.

The Shuttle

Captain Carson Teva approached a damaged Lamda Class shuttle in his X-Wing. He activated his X-Wing's searchlights and called Lieutenant Reed to help him investigate. Captain Teva then told his astromech, R7, to lunch the probe. Lieutenant Reed said it was a New Republic prison transport, and the flight times matched the ship transporting Moff Gideon. On the cabin wall, there was a fragment of beskar alloy. Lieutenant Reed asked Captain Teva if he meant that Mandalorians took Moff Gideon.
